Wolverhampton Wanderers have been magnificent so far this season.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and urged the club’s fans to continue their incredible support for the remainder of the campaign.
The Black Country outfit have really impressed this season, and currently sit at the top of the Championship table, four points clear of second placed Cardiff City.
The Portuguese deserves great credit for the manner in which he has galvanised his troops, following last season’s dreadful campaign, transforming them into arguably the most feared side in the division.

The Wolves fans have been treated to a wonderful brand of football from Nuno’s men this season, and they have shown great support of their team as a direct result – something that the former Porto and Valencia boss is truly grateful for.
He sat down for an interview with the Express & Star, and pleaded with the club’s fans to stick by the team both home and away:

“I keep repeating myself, the lead doesn’t mean anything at all. We have to work every day the same way, every day is important. We humbly ask the fans to keep supporting the team home and away, it’s very important to us.”
Next up for Wolves is a trip to St Andrews to take on Midlands rivals Birmingham City, and it would take a brave man to bet against them returning to the Black Country with all three points safely secured.
