Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the midst of a fine run of form.

John Ruddy of Norwich shouts instructions during the Sky Bet Championship match between Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion at Carrow Road on April 21, 2017 in Norwich, England.

Wolves ace John Ruddy sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about his team’s display during their 5-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, although he did admit that conceding a goal tarnished the victory.

The Black Country outfit have been in superb form so far this season, and currently sit comfortably top of the Championship table, four points clear of second placed Cardiff City, after their fine return of 44 points from their opening 19 league outings.

Much of the credit for their fine form must go to Nuno Espirito Santo, who took the reigns at Molineux in the summer, and has managed to galvanise a failing squad of players, transforming them into a more committed, unified group.

And Ruddy, who joined Wolves on a free transfer in the summer, offered an insight into his side’s mentality, suggesting that he wasn’t completely happy with their 5-1 victory on Saturday, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:

“I thought that we were efficient and effective, and that we dominated from start to finish,” Ruddy said. “We were disappointed to concede a goal, but that was the only blip.

Next up for Wolves is a trip to St Andrews to take on Birmingham City next Monday, and it would take a brave man to bet against them heading back to the Black Country with all three points.
