Arsenal have issued an update on Thomas Partey, who missed Sunday’s Premier League win over Watford due to injury.
The Gunners posted on their official Twitter account that the 33-cap Ghana international missed Arsenal’s 1-0 result against the Hornets due to a tight groin.
Partey has been a key part of Arsenal’s season. With the midfielder starting every game when 100% fit. And the former Atletico Madrid star’s presence was missed against Watford.
Whilst Ainsley Maitland-Niles was impressive against Claudio Ranieri’s side, Albert Sambi Lokonga was off the boil. With the Belgian recently finding a solid partnership alongside Partey.
Indeed, Partey’s time with Arsenal has been plagued with injuries. With the midfielder missing multiple games last campaign in his first year with the Premier League side.
However, it appears that this injury will see Partey return to the pitch after the international break. Where Arsenal will face Liverpool and Manchester United in two of their next three games.
Arsenal fans fear the worst over Partey injury

Indeed, Partey’s presence was missed today, and supporters on social media are fearing the worst over the 28-year-old midfielder. With Arsenal fans scared that the Ghanian could miss the game against Liverpool.
