Tottenham Hotspur could be left empty-handed in their search for a striker if they do not move quickly.
Spurs have been in the market for a new centre-forward this summer with Richarlison’s future up in the air.
Ange Postecoglou made it clear to the club’s board that he is short of strikers and HITC revealed on Tuesday that Tottenham have identified four striker targets.
One of which is Dominic Solanke, who has a £65million release clause in his Bournemouth contract.
But HITC revealed in May that Tottenham’s top striker target is Santiago Gimenez, who has shone at Feyenoord.
The Mexico international won the Eredivisie playing under Arne Slot and ended last season with 26 goals in all competitions.
But Tottenham are yet to make their move for Gimenez and they could now lose out to Premier League rivals.

Nottingham Forest ready to hijack Tottenham target
According to Dutch outlet 1908, Nottingham Forest have a concrete interest in Gimenez this summer and a multi-million bid is expected soon.
The report adds that Gimenez has an estimated value of around 40million Euros (£34million) this summer with plenty of clubs interested in his signature.
Forest were deducted four points for breaching Profit and Sustainability Rules last season, but they have navigated their financial problems this summer and are free to spend.

They have spent close to £65million this summer on six new signings, including a £35million deal for Newcastle United midfielder Elliot Anderson.
Forest already have a strong strike force that includes Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood and Emmanuel Dennis, but they are reportedly ready to add Gimenez to their ranks.
