Everton and West Ham United are understood to have scouted Joe Worrall on Sunday, with the Nottingham Forest star shining against Liverpool.
Forest hosted Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday night and gave Jurgen Klopp’s men a real run for their money.
In the end though, Liverpool ran out 1-0 winners as Diogo Jota struck a second-half winner just moments after Philip Zinckernagel missed a huge chance for Forest.
Liverpool advance into the semi-finals but Forest have been receiving huge praise for their display.
Forest have hopes of winning promotion to the Premier League, and they may actually need that in order to keep defender Joe Worrall.
The Sunday Mirror reported that Everton and West Ham were both scouting Worrall against Liverpool with a belief that Forest would need to sell if they don’t go up.
David Moyes is thought to be a huge fan but Everton are joining the race as Frank Lampard desperately seeks defensive additions this summer.
Worrall, 25, has been a star man for Forest this season and if Premier League scouts were watching on Sunday, he certainly impressed.
Worrall was outstanding, recording four tackles, four clearances, five interceptions, one blocked shot and two aerial duels won.

Even up against the likes of Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota – two top Premier League attackers – Worrall didn’t look out of place at all.
After the final whistle, the official FA Cup Twitter account announced that Worrall had won the Player of the Match award for his performance.
That’s major compliment for Worrall, who now seems ready for Premier League action.
Everton or West Ham may be in a position to offer that this summer, but the ideal situation for Worrall is to get there with Forest.
