Nottingham Forest have identified Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen as a potential replacement for Steve Cooper, who is on the radar of Brighton and Hove Albion, who themselves are on the hunt for a new manager following Graham Potter’s departure to Chelsea, according to The Sun.
The Sun have reported that Brighton fancy appointing Forest boss Cooper as their new manager.
The Seagulls recently lost Potter to former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea.
One of the managers that Brighton reportedly think would fit their model is Cooper.
The Welshman guided Forest to promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of last season.

Nottingham Forest eye Brighton and Hove Albion-linked Kjetil Knutsen
The Sun have claimed that Forest do not want Cooper to leave and are ‘desperate’ for the 42-year-old to sign a new deal.
However, the Reds are looking for replacements if the former Swansea City boss does leave for Brighton.
The Sun have reported that Bodo/Glimt boss Kjetil Knutsen is on the radar of Forest.
The 53-year-old Norwegian has been in charge of Bodo/Glimt since 2019.
Under Knutsen, Bodo/Glimt won the Eliteserien in 2020 and 2021.
In October 2021, the Norwegian club famously beat Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma 6-1 at home in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage.
Interestingly, Knutsen has been linked with Brighton as well.
Earlier this week, The Guardian reported that the Seagulls could soon make a formal approach to speak to the Norwegian.
