Blackburn Rovers are said to want the Nottingham Forest forward on a loan-to-buy deal.
Nottingham Forest fans are reacting on Twitter to reports Blackburn Rovers have offered them £6 million to sign forward Ben Brereton.
The Sun claims Brereton is wanted in a loan-to-buy deal by Blackburn, but adds the two clubs remain far apart in their valuations of the England youth international, for whom Forest are understood to want £12 million – despite having left him out of their opening four fixtures this season.
Brereton himself is said to have been shocked by the developments and will be allowed to leave for the right price, according to the tabloid.
But while some Nottingham Forest supporters are willing to offload the Reds academy product, the bulk of them do not agree.

Brereton only turned 19 in April, but has already made 57 senior appearances – from which he has scored or assisted 16 goals.
The Stoke-on-Trent-born player could become Blackburn’s biggest signing since 2012, when the Lancashire side paid around £8 million for Jordan Rhodes – who was later bought by Nottingham Forest’s manager Aitor Karanka at Middlesbrough.
