Former Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke has joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window.

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Oliver Burke moving to Celtic on loan from West Bromwich Albion.

Burke has joined Scottish Premiership giants Celtic on loan from West Brom in the Championship in England.

The 21-year-old Scotland intentional winger will stay at the Hoops until the end of the season.

The youngster started his professional club football career at Forest before moving to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2016.

Burke was brilliant during his time at Forest, and although he started life at RB Leipzig strongly, the youngster lost his place in the starting lineup.

The Scotland international moved to West Brom in the summer of 2017, but once again, the winger struggled to make an impact.

The 21-year-old winger was able to just 46 minutes of Championship football for West Brom this season before moving to Celtic.

Aitor Karanka’s side were actually linked with the winger before he joined the Hoops on loan, with The Mirror (print edition, page 45, January 2, 2019) reporting that the Reds were monitoring his situation (click here to read more).
