Manchester City supporters have reacted to Fabio Paraitic’s comments on the future of Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Paratici shared that he ‘can’t wait’ to see Kane in the flesh for Tottenham next season and he made it clear he wants to keep the player on board.
This despite Kane suggesting, during an interview with Gary Neville, that he is willing to leave Spurs this summer.
Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, also reported of Man City seemingly throwing big money, plus players, on the table for Kane’s talents this summer.
Either way, Paratici’s comments haven’t gone down well with the Man City supporters, who want the Englishman signed up.
Pep Guardiola, even though he has a squad packed with attacking talent, needs that out-and-out number nine after Sergio Aguero’s departure.
Gabriel Jesus is the only recognised number nine, whilst the likes of Ferran Torres, Raheem Sterling, Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden can play that false nine role that worked so well for the club last season.
Either way, Man City fans want Kane on board, but in truth, if anything does happen then everyone will have to wait until Euro 2020 concludes.
Kane, who hasn’t won a major trophy in his career, is two wins away from helping England win their first major tournament in over 50 years.
That would be some story for the Spurs academy product, who has broken many individual records but hasn’t won that ultimate prize of winning a team trophy.
