Granit Xhaka believes that Arsenal have what it takes to climb out of their slump in form.

Speaking to the club’s official website, the Swiss maestro claims that he will give it his all to fight for the team. Xhaka has signed a new contract for Arsenal in the same summer the 28-year-old wanted to leave for AS Roma.

The north London side have lost their first two Premier League games of the season and failed to score in either match, breaking a 118-year club record as reported by the Mirror.

With Manchester City next up for Arsenal, there is a good chance that the Gunners can go three games in the Premier League with zero points and zero goals scored.

The season has already been one to forget for Arsenal fans based off the results in the league as well as the decisions the club have made during the summer.

Xhaka’s contract extension has overall been seen by supporters as a backwards step for Arsenal. And fans on social media were not pleased with his comments on trying to get the club back to form.
