Tony Cascarino has said on talkSPORT that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal should not sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The former Chelsea player believes that Rashford is not clinical and would not be able to lead the line for Arsenal.

The talkSPORT pundit does not think that a transfer for the England international forward – who earns £200,000 per week as salary at Manchester United (Spotrac) – to Arsenal would happen.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter this month that Rashford is considering his future at United.
90min have reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are keen on securing the services of the 24-year-old England international forward.
Cascarino said on talkSPORT, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “I’m not sure if Marcus is the solution for Arsenal because Marcus is not clinical.
“He doesn’t particularly lead the line well. And that’s one of the two traits that you need if you’re going to play in an Arteta team.
“Marcus would have to become a better player. You’d have to pay a big wage, and a decent enough transfer fee so I don’t see that move at all.
“I might be wrong. I never think that people can’t improve, that’s just ludicrous to think that.”

Marcus Rashford would make Arsenal better
In our opinion, Rashford would make Arsenal a better team in attack.
Now, of course, we have to take into account the forward’s salary and the transfer fee that Manchester United would want for him.
However, if Rashford moves to Arsenal, then, in our view, he would be a good addition to Arteta’s team.
Yes, Rashford is not exactly a great number nine, but he could learn that role and improve as an attacker under Arteta.
Moreover, the forward could play out wide, allowing Gabriel Martinelli to operate as the number nine.
The United no. 10 has scored 59 goals in 198 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
