Josh Doig is a target for Leeds United, Celtic and Sunderland but Hibernian boss Jack Ross insists the Scottish Premiership outfit have yet to receive an offer that would convince them to sell, as reported by the Daily Record.
The Scotland youth star wasted no time in making his mark in 2020/21.
In August, 18-year-old Doig was rewarded for a brilliant pre-season by a starting berth in Hibs’ 2-1 opening-day victory over Kilmarnock.
He was, in Ross’s own words, “excellent”.
And talk about starting as you mean to go on. Doig has consistently impressed since that breakthrough appearance – so much so some of Britain’s biggest clubs are keeping a close eye on his rapid rise at Easter Road.
Goal believes Celtic, Leeds and even Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are interested, while Sunderland are also in the mix.
The Black Cats want a left-back after losing Denver Hume to injury, although Jack Ross would be hugely disappointed to lose the teenager to the club that sacked him in autumn 2019.

“We’ve had young players who have performed well this season and there have been notes of interest from clubs,” Ross said when asked about Doig’s future.
“As it stands, there’s nothing that would see any of those young players depart. But we will see what happens in the days left in the window.
“I’m loath to say with certainty that nothing will ever happen because it could change. But not at the moment.”
Goal believes Doig would cost about £1 million.
Leeds, Celtic and Man City wouldn’t struggle to pay a seven-figure sum, although Sunderland may have to raise funds by selling Will Grigg and Danny Graham before they can bring in a new face.
