Arsenal are reportedly close to sending Harry Clarke to Ross County on a season-long loan.
According to the Daily Record, the Scottish Premiership side are close to securing a deal with the Gunners for the 20-year-old defender.
Clarke spent last season with Oldham Athletic, making 32 appearances for the club. The defender came through Arsenal’s youth ranks after joining from Ipswich Town.
The former England U-17 international is one of a number of academy players who Mikel Arteta and Per Mertesacker are sending out on loan this summer.
The Gunners have already confirmed that Nikolaj Moller has joined German side FC Viktoria Koln on loan for the season.
Furthermore, as reported by Football London, Tim Akinola, Ben Cottrell and George Lewis will also leave this summer on loan deals.
Arsenal fans aren’t pleased with Clarke loan
Indeed, Clarke is one of the most physically impressive youngsters coming out of London Colney this season.

The defender will suit life in Scotland. And with Ross County, the youngster will be up against the wall when playing against the top sides in the country.
Yet despite moving to a top-flight side, some Arsenal fans on social media are not pleased that Clarke will be heading to Scotland for the season.
Some supporters believe that the defender would be better suited moving to a better league or even remaining in England with a move to a Championship side.
