Norway vs England: Date, US and UK kick-off times and venue for World Cup quarter-final

England meet Norway in the World Cup 2026 quarter-finals in a game that pits Erling Haaland against Harry Kane. 

The Three Lions overcame the daunting challenge of Mexico in the Estadio Azteca, winning 3-2 to continue their quest for a first trophy in 60 years.

The 3-2 win was as dramatic as they come!

Norway, meanwhile, beat Brazil to record the biggest result in their history after a Haaland brace saw them beat the five-time world champions 2-1 in New Jersey.

It’s another mouth-watering tie to look forward to in the World Cup, so here’s everything you need to know. 

Norway vs England date, kick-off time and venue

Norway vs England is scheduled for a 10pm BST kick-off time on Saturday 11 July, 2026. It will kick off at 5pm EDT. 

The Miami Stadium (the Hard Rock Stadium) will host the match.

Norway vs England early team news

The big news for England is that Jarrell Quansah will be suspended against Norway, having been sent off against Mexico. 

Reece James remains an injury doubt too, although he has not definitely been ruled out of proceedings just yet.

Midfielder Jordan Henderson suffered an injury while celebrating England’s win over Mexico, too. Djed Spence wasn’t fit to start against Mexico but did come off the bench after Quansah was sent off.  

Julian Ryerson was a doubt for Norway heading into their game with Brazil but the Borussia Dortmund defender ended up playing.

Erling Haaland vs Harry Kane record at the 2026 World Cup

Though both teams have more to their game than solely boasting star strikers, it’s difficult to look past this being a battle between Haaland and Kane

Haaland has scored seven goals in the World Cup so far, while Kane has six. The former is level with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe in the top scorer standings, while the latter is just one behind.
