Trump ‘said’ his son is fascinated by Haaland
Indeed, Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store has revealed that Trump spoke in glowing terms about the forward, having watched him during the World Cup.
According to Store, Trump’s son is fascinated by Haaland.
Indeed, the President himself even said that Haaland was “large and great.”
He said: “During dinner yesterday, Trump came up to me and congratulated me on the victory against Brazil, then he said that as he saw it, Norway could win the entire World Cup with that team.”
He then added that Trump had asked Store to convey his greetings to Haaland.
Haaland certainly is a unique presence in the sport. Rarely has there been a goalscorer of such prowess, particularly one of the 25-year-old’s profile.
Scoring records have fallen all across Europe ever since he emerged onto the scene, while he is also making history on the international front too.
Not only has Haaland enjoyed huge success on the field, he’s also made waves on social media during the tournament.
His unique personality has seen his profile grow, to the point where even Trump has noticed.
At this rate, it seems as if Norway will be featuring at World Cups far more frequently, meaning more history could await Haaland over the coming years.
