Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that the Gunners are open to selling Joe Willock.

Willock joined Newcastle United on loan from Arsenal in the January transfer window and is scheduled to return to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.

According to The Mirror (print edition, page 63, April 4, 2021), Newcastle want to keep the midfielder on loan for next season.

The report has claimed that Arsenal are likely to want the 21-year-old to play for a Premier League club on loan next season, adding that the Gunners are open to selling the England Under-21 international in the summer of 2021.

Willock has made over 35 appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners, but the 21-year-old has not been able to establish himself as a regular in the North London club’s first team.

The Gunners are well stocked in midfield, and a good offer could see them cash in on the academy graduate.

Willock is playing well for Newcastle at the moment and scored against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the weekend.

Some Arsenal fans on Twitter do not want the club to sell Willock in the summer of 2021, as shown below.
