
Alan Shearer has praised Newcastle United duo Joelinton and Joe Willock on Twitter for their performance against Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon.
Newcastle have played out a 2-2 draw with Tottenham at St. James’ Park in the Premier League today.
Joelinton put Steve Bruce’s side in the lead in the 28th minute, but Harry Kane scored twice thereafter to make it 2-1 to Spurs.
Joe Willock, on loan from Arsenal, scored the equaliser for the Magpies in the 85th minute after coming on as a substitute.
Newcastle legend Shearer has praised Joelinton for his performance for the Magpies and has also hailed Willock for his goal.
Newcastle were very good against Tottenham and deservedly picked up a point from the Premier League game.

Joelinton could have scored two more goals, but the striker did not give up, looked confident and worked hard for the team.
Willock did well after coming off the bench and will pleased to have scored against Tottenham as an Arsenal-owned player.
Newcastle are now three points above the Premier League bottom three and remain in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
