Dion Dublin has said on Premier League Productions that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is unique in the current squad.
The former Manchester United player is a huge fan of Liverpool star Firmino.
Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are often said to be the two most important players in the current Liverpool squad.
However, according to BBC Sport pundit Dublin, Brazil international forward Firmino is unique in manager Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
What Dion Dublin has said
Dublin said about Firmino on Premier League Productions: “Footballers, we absolutely love him. He is so clever.
“He is one player in that Liverpool side that does things that nobody else in that Liverpool team can do, the positions he takes up up, the assists that he gets. He looks like a Brazilian footballer. His runs are amazing.”
Roberto Firmino should be praised
It is really great to see a well-known and well-respected pundit like Dublin speak so highly of Firmino.
The Brazil international forward is doing well at the moment, but there have been occasions in the past when he has not been great.
And he has been criticised.
Now, every players goes though bad spells.
Firmino is no different.
However, the 30-year-old is now playing well.
In our view, Firmino should be praised for his performances this season.
The Liverpool no. 9 has scored four goals and provided one assist in four Premier League starts so far this season.
Firmino has scored two goals in one Champions League starts this campaign.
