Aaron Ramsdale has been nothing short of a revelation for Arsenal this season, and the keeper is now up for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for November.
The PFA announced on their official Twitter account that the 23-year-old shot-stopper had made the six-man shortlist for the award. As well as Ramsdale, the likes of Bernardo Silva, Reece James and Teemu Puki are also in contention for the prize.
Ramsdale played every minute of football for Arsenal in November, with the former Sheffield United star keeping two clean sheets in his three appearances for the Gunners.
The youngster also made his international debut for England, with Ramsdale again keeping a clean sheet as the Three Lions demolished San Marino 10-0 to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
With the Gunners playing six Premier League games this December, Ramsdale’s form will be paramount if Arsenal are to make a top-four statement in the division.
The north London side face some difficult tests this month, with Arsenal facing Everton this Monday before fixtures against the likes of West Ham, Wolves and Leeds follow.
Indeed, the strength at the back has been key to Mikel Arteta’s side current place in the Premier League table. And fans on social media are over the moon that Ramsdale’s efforts have been recognised by the PFA.

Whilst there is an outside chance the keeper will win the award, Arsenal fans are buzzing that the England keeper is being appreciated by one of English football’s biggest organisations.
Ramsdale has been one of the top keepers in the Premier League this campaign, and Arsenal fans will be hoping the youngster can continue his progression as the club’s number one this month.
