Rafa Benitez has warned Harry Kane about leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer amid transfer rumours involving Manchester United.
The former Premier League manager stated that if Harry Kane is going to leave Tottenham then it has to be for the ‘right’ team where he will also win trophies.
There is talk regarding Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, but Benitez added that he might just go from being the top player at Spurs to one of many at Old Trafford.

When Benitez was at Liverpool, he had a similar issue with Steven Gerrard.
The former midfielder remained a one-club man, but there was talk during his career that he wanted to join Jose Mourinho’s all-conquering Chelsea.
Whilst Gerrard won trophies in his career, including the Champions League, Kane has nada in his cabinet and Benitez spoke about his future, as he told Premier League Productions (30/04/23 at 1:40 pm).
“You need to know where you need to go,” said Benitez. “If you go to a team that can’t win trophies, then it makes no sense. You have to make the right decision. You have to pick the right team – I had a situation with another player and he is now a club legend, which is Stevie G.
“I think it’s really important to be the top scorer in England. To be a player that has been in one team all his life or go to another club and take a risk.
“When I was trying to convince Stevie I said ‘if you stay here, then you will always be Steven Gerrard’. If you go to another top side, then maybe you will be one good player. One of the big names, but you will have four or five.
“Here you will be Stevie G and everyone will know that, with him (Kane) it could be the same, if he goes to Manchester United, they will have two or three players that are really good players. He won’t be their best player but one of their best players.”

ANYONE BUT TOTTENHAM…
It’s understandable if Kane doesn’t want to leave England because he wants Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record.
But there is no reason why he can’t do that at another English club because it’s not going to happen at Spurs.
If anything, the north London club are on the decline, so unless Daniel Levy becomes as stubborn as he has ever been, then Kane needs to force himself out of the door.
