Some Tottenham fans on Twitter have been urging the club to give Oliver Skipp a chance over Harry Winks.

Somewhat understandably, Winks wasn’t the most popular figure amongst the Tottenham fanbase after his performance against Everton on Wednesday evening, and a discourse about Skipp playing ahead of the midfielder started after his showing.

As much as these comments may have been born out of frustration in Winks’ showing, the fact that Skipp is held in such high esteem is a testament to how well he’s been doing at Norwich this season.

It seems as though Spurs fans are talking about this man’s performances almost every other week, and if their comments are anything to go by, Jose Mourinho may want to look at utilising him.

Winks is by no means a bad player. After all, he is a bona fide England international, but Skipp’s impressive performances out on loan this season have seen some Spurs fans call for him to get a chance over the 25-year-old.

Here’s what Tottenham supporters have been saying on social media…
