Tottenham Hotspur manager target Oliver Glasner has hinted at his plan to reject a contract extension at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 48-year-old’s agents held talks with Spurs over the vacancy in N17, as per a report in March.
As Tottenham Hotspur are on the prowl for a new manager, it seems Oliver Glasner has suggested that he does not intend to sign a new contract at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Tottenham manager target Oliver Glasner hints at desire to snub new contract
Spurs are in desperate need of a brand-new coach, especially seeing how the wheels have fallen off since Cristian Stellini’s appointment on a caretaker basis.
It seems as if Harry Kane’s future also depends on which manager the club brings through the door, as at 29 years of age, he would likely be considering an exit in search of a chance to win silverware.
Oliver Glasner may very well be the manager to be brought in at Tottenham, as it seems as if he has no intention to sign a contract extension at Frankfurt.

“If I were really selfish, I would extend the contract immediately, collect more money and have an exit clause written into it, and get more severance pay if I were then fired. But that’s exactly what I won’t do! It has nothing to do with delaying, selfishness of playing a game of poker”, as relayed by BILD.
“When I commit to an employer and the project, I want to know where the journey is going, and not everything is clear at the moment. There are a lot of questions mark in every club right now. Players whose contracts are expiring and do not want to renew, or who the club no longer wants to keep. As well as option the club have to replace them. It’s not done in five minutes.”
From a Tottenham standpoint, the hope remains that Oliver Glasner is ready to reject a contract extension and has all eyes for becoming the club’s next manager.
