Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with the agents of Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner, who has previously turned down the chance to go to Chelsea, according to Bild.
Tottenham make contact with agents of Oliver Glasner
German publication Bild have reported that Tottenham have made contact with Glasner’s agents and aim to appoint the 48-year-old as their new manager.
The Telegraph have reported that Tottenham plan to get rid of Antonio Conte this week after the former Chelsea manager’s extraordinary outburst this past weekend.
Bild journalist Christian Falk reported on CaughtOffSide this past weekend that Tottenham are interested in Glasner, adding that the Austrian had previously turned down the chance to manage Chelsea.

HITC Verdict: Summer appointment more likely
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur are more likely to get Oliver Glasner in the summer than now.
We do not think that the Austrian will leave his managerial role at Eintracht Frankfurt rightaway.
After all, Frankfurt are in the running for the UEFA Champions League places in the Bundesliga table this season.
However, the Austrian could well be tempted to move to Tottenham in the summer of 2023.
After all, the 48-year-old has probably done all he could at Frankfurt.
The German club won the UEFA Europa League last season and progressed as far as the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League this campaign.
