Journalist Filip Koos has urged Vincent Kompany to become the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur instead of accepting the Chelsea boss.
It was reported on Thursday by Alasdair Gold that Spurs’ Head of Coaching Methodology, Simon Davies was likely to suggest the club to appoint the Burnley boss as well.

Now, journalist Filip Koos has told Vincent Kompany to join Tottenham Hotspur rather than becoming the new Chelsea manager.
Journalist tells Kompany to become Tottenham and not Chelsea manager
The Belgian tactician has been on the receiving end of plaudits due to the impressive job he has done at Turf Moor, leading them to becoming the earliest team in Championship history to be promoted.
Johan Boskamp and Ander van der Meyde branded the Manchester City legend as a ‘world-beater’, despite having managed only Burnley and Anderlecht so far.
It seems journalist and analyst Filip Kroos rates Vincent Kompany as highly as well, suggesting him to become the next manager of Tottenha.
“Kompany to Tottenham? Go! And even more, he has to let Kane and Son go and start all over again. That squad is so deep right now”, he was quoted saying by Voetbal Nieuws.
“He shouldn’t go to Chelsea where he will end up in a machine. There are 98 players walking around and you have to do it with that. Chelsea have also won trophies in recent years.”
“Kompany is now bigger than Tottenham. If I’m Tottenham and you see Arteta’s work at Arsenal. He’s also from Guardiola’s school, just like Kompany. Doesn’t he have an edge over the rest? We would also understand if he left Burnley for Tottenham.”
Considering how much of a shambles Chelsea seem to be as a project in comparison to Tottenham, perhaps the journalist is right in recommending the latter as a better environment for Kompany to thrive in as a manager.
Then again, one questions whether the 36-year-old would even leave Burnley, considering he may want to assess how his team performs in the Premier League next season.
