While Tottenham Hotspur may have been encouraged about this news regarding Arne Slot, the man himself has said that he has his sights set on becoming the Barcelona manager one day.

HITC View: Tottenham do not have much to be concerned about

For starters, Xavi’s position at his boyhood clubs seems completely secure, considering his side are nailed-on to become domestic champions.

With Barcelona not looking to sack the Spanish manager anytime soon, Tottenham have a clear run at appointing Arne Slot next season.

Playing and managing in the Premier League remains a luring prospect for any and everyone involved in the sport and Spurs are one of the biggest clubs in the nation.

With the need for a project to be built, there is no reason why the London-based club should doubt their chances of landing the highly-rated coach.
