A new contract for Garry Monk could be in the pipeline at Leeds United.
Leeds United finally confirmed the permanent signing of Pontus Jansson last night, with the Swede penning a three-year contract which will kick in after his loan deal ends in July.

There was also a hint from club co-owner Andrea Radrizzani that an extension for head coach Garry Monk could be next.
After a fan reached out to the Italian to urge a deal for Monk, Radrizzani responded by ‘liking’ the message.

Garry Monk’s contract at Leeds runs out at the end of June, with Massimo Cellino appointing him only on a one-year deal last summer.
With the transfer window out of the way, it makes sense for all parties to get together and thrash out a deal, with Monk integral to the club’s success this season.
