Don Hutchison has urged Newcastle United, West Ham United and Everton to sign Burnley’s relegated trio, Nick Pope, Dwight McNeil and James Tarkowski.

All three dropped down to the Championship on the final day of the Premier League season, after a dogfight with Everton, with Newcastle securing their safety weeks before and West Ham adding another European adventure to their season.

Nonetheless, with Tarkowski out-of-contract in June, there is talk that he could be snapped up by other Premier League clubs, including Everton and Newcastle.

Whilst Pope, who Jurgen Klopp once dubbed ‘sensational’, is a player on West Ham United’s transfer radar.

One thing is for sure, Burnley’s transfer department will get a few knocks on the door, as Hutchison told Frank Lampard and co. who to snap up this summer, as he told Premier League Productions.

“I think if you are clubs like Newcastle, you are clubs like Everton and West Ham,” said Hutchison.

“Then you pounce on what’s happened at Burnley. You probably take Tarkowski. You probably take Dwight McNeil. And Nick Pope.”

NICK POPE IS A NO-BRAINER FOR PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS

There aren’t many clubs that can hold their head high when they suffer relegation, but Pope is one of them for Burnley.

The England international has been outstanding this term and he’s a player that has to be snapped up by someone in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old is behind Jordan Pickford for the Three Lions, and if he wants to maintain his spot for the 2022 World Cup, then he needs to look for a new home.

But given what Pope has produced over the years, he has already built his reputation and he won’t be short of offers, that’s for sure.
