Newcastle United are interested in signing Mohamed Elneny from Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The report has claimed that Newcastle have scouted Elneny ‘extensively’.
Arsenal could make Elneny available in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
Could Mohamed Elneny leave Arsenal for Newcastle?
In our opinion, there is a chance that Elneny could leave Arsenal for Newcastle in the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder is struggling for playing time at the Gunners at the moment.
Elneny has made one start and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.

The Egypt international has played thrice in the Carabao Cup for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this campaign.
So, in our view, Elneny could be tempted to leave Arsenal if he gets the chance to play regularly for Newcastle.
Elneny is also out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2022, which means that the Gunners could be tempted to sell him now and get some transfer fee.
The one potential hurdle is that Elneny will play for Egypt at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, so will not be available to play rightaway.
