Mark Ogden has shared that Chelsea fans ‘booed’ Newcastle United transfer target Christian Pulisic in what could have been his final game for the club.
On the final day of the 22/23 Premier League season, Christian Pulisic came off the bench as Chelsea recorded a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
Journalist Mark Ogden expects the USA international to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, as he recommends that he ‘gets away’ after being ‘booed’ by his own fans when he was brought on as a substitute, as he told ESPN.

From constant injuries to a lack of form, it just hasn’t worked out for the 24-year-old, who needs a fresh start in his career, whether that’s in the Premier League or abroad.
After securing Champions League football for next season, Newcastle have expressed interest in the £58 million star.
But they aren’t the only ones who have been offered the services of the all-action forward, with Ogden sharing that a number of clubs across Europe have the chance to sign him.
“It’s likely that he is going to leave,” said Ogden. “He’s not had the best last couple of years, has he, Pulisic?! He’s had injuries. He’s not had the faith of managers that have been there.
“He was booed onto the pitch at the weekend in the last game of the season at Newcastle, so the fans have made their minds up about him.
“I think Pulisic needs a move now. What I have been told is that he has been offered around quite a few clubs. I think Man United have been contacted. Newcastle. AC Milan. Galatasaray. And Napoli. I have been told that Juventus are more interested than most. I think they can do a deal.
“£20 million nowadays isn’t much for a player that has got Champions League and Premier League experience – He needs a move and he needs to get away from Chelsea. It’s not worked for him.”

IS PULISIC WORTHY OF PLAYING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL?
If Newcastle are to sign the American, then he has to come in and enhance the starting XI.
It has to be questioned whether or not he would do that, or whether he is worthy of playing for a team that’s in the Champions League.
Perhaps, for the betterment of his career, he should take a few steps down and sign for a team outside of Europe because it would suit him in the long-term.
