Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United have turned down a second bid from Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United for Jack Harrison, according to The Athletic.
The report published this morning has claimed that Newcastle made a second offer for Leeds winger Harrison last week.
However, the West Yorkshire club turned it down.
The Athletic have claimed that Newcastle’s second offer was in excess of £20 million, but Leeds do not plan to sell the 25-year-old at all this summer.
Newcastle will fail in pursuit of Leeds star Jack Harrison
In our view, until and unless Newcastle United offer Leeds United a ridiculous amount of money for Jack Harrison, they will not be able to sign him.

There is no way that Leeds will sell one of their best players for £20 million or so, especially so late in the summer transfer window.
After all, Leeds will need to find a suitable replacement and then get him up to speed.
We think that Newcastle will have to offer the Whites at least £40 million to even tempt them to persuade selling the £60,000-a-week (SalarySport) Englishman.
Harrison himself said last week that he is happy at Leeds, which suggest that he is not going to force a move out of Elland Road anytime soon.
