According to iNews, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are considering making a £50 million for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, who has also been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool among other clubs.
Newcastle United consider £50m bid for Arsenal target Mykhaylo Mudryk
INews are reporting today that Newcastle are taking a serious interest in Mudryk and are considering whether to pay the £50 million transfer fee that his club Shakhtar want for him.
The report has claimed that Arsenal, Everton and Brentford are also keen on securing the services of the 21-year-old Ukraine international winger.
Earlier this month, CalcioMercato reported that Liverpool are interested in Mudryk.
According to iNews, Mudryk is “skilful, deceptively strong and quick”.

Massive statement
In our view, if Newcastle United were able to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk ahead of the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, then it would be a massive coup from them.
It would show just how far Newcastle have come under PIF.
Arsenal and Liverpool are Premier League heavyweights who are global brands and very wealthy clubs.
If Newcastle were able to sign Mudryk, one of the finest young players in Europe at the moment, then it would be a huge statement of intent from the Magpies.
