Leeds United new boy Ouasim Bouy spent five years under contract to Juventus.

Leeds United completed the signing of Ouasim Bouy this week, who joined after five years at Juventus.

The 24-year-old did not make a first team appearance in Turin, spending five years out on loan, but benefitted from working with some of football’s biggest names.

Bouy, who is set to join Spanish side Cultural Leonesa for the season on loan, has worked under current Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

He told Tutto Juve: “When I arrived at Juventus, Mr. Conte told me: ‘Ouasim, you have so much quality and talent.’

“He saw me in Pirlo’s position and that’s why he was training me close to him.”

Bouy added: “Andrea (Pirlo) has helped me a lot. He explained, for example, how I could make a difference by taking care of the slightest detail as one kicked ball can decide a whole match. I have great respect for both him and Conte.”

The Leeds United new boy can play in central midfield and central defence, and signed a four-year contract with the club this week.
