The Aston Villa ace joined the club in January of this year.
Villa ace Neil Taylor at down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and admitted how hard he found it to settle in the west Midlands following his January move from Swansea City.
The 28-year-old left-back has been far more consistent for Steve Bruce’s men this season, however, making 15 Championship starts thus far.
Taylor’s improved form has coincided with the Villans’ climb up the table, and they now sit comfortably in fifth position in the Championship table, just seven points adrift of the automatic promotion spots.

The left-back sat down for an exclusive interview with AVFC.co.uk, and explained why moving clubs in January is much harder than doing so in the summer:
“It’s been a challenging, exciting first 10 months here. It’s a big challenge to change clubs and move to a new country in the January window. When you join a club in the summer you’ve got a few weeks to get yourself sorted, get the kids into school for the start of September and allow your family to integrate into the new area. I’d never played football for a club outside of Wales before that point, let alone gone through a big move. Coming in mid-season, you’ve got competitive games coming thick and fast as soon as you move. But you’ve got to embrace these things and for me it’s been a case of so far, so good.”
The Welshman will be looking to maintain his consistent form as his side head into arguably the most important period of the campaign, with six games scheduled over the next 25 days.
Next up on the agenda for Taylor and co is a home game against Millwall in the Championship on Saturday, and nothing less than a win will do, as they look to keep pace with those above them in the table.
