Ronaldo Vieira has been earning rave reviews for his performances for Leeds United this season.
Neil Redfearn has hinted to TV Yorkshire that Leeds United starlet Ronaldo Vieira is in the perfect place for the sake of his development after the midfielder shone in the recent win over Derby County.
Vieira was one of a number of Whites stars who earned rave reviews following his display against the Rams. But positive assessments of the 18-year-old’s displays have not been a rarity this term, and – unfortunately for Leeds – his form has not gone unnoticed.

According to a report from the Chronicle in November, Newcastle United have been keeping an eye on the youngster, while HITC Sport reported in December that Bundesliga high-flyers RB Leipzig were also keeping track on him.
But after joining the queue of admirers, Redfearn suggested that staying at Elland Road may currently be the best decision for his career.
“Very talented boy. He’s got the physique of a man, very athletic. [He’s got a] Turn of pace, powerful,” he told TV Yorkshire when describing what impresses him about Vieira.
“I think what he’s doing at this moment in time is he’s learning his trade in a good place, the side’s playing well, he’s playing with good players, and he’s playing at a really good level of football and he’s only going to get better.”

Considering that Vieira went into this campaign having made just one appearance for the Whites first-team previously, and had only been at the club for little over a year, it is fair to say that his rise has been one of the biggest positives to come out of the Yorkshire side over the last few years.
And if he can continue to develop at the rate he is currently going, it will surely only be a matter of time before he is playing regularly at the highest level.
