Would Preston North End forward Jordan Hugill be a good signing for Leeds United in the January transfer window?

The former Leeds head coach has outlined the quality of the 25-year-old forward, and believes that he is more mobile than Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
Lasogga joined the Whites on a season-long loan deal from German club Hamburg in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old is expected to a replacement for New Zealand international Chris Wood, who joined Burnley in the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
The former German Under-21 international has scored three goals and provided two assists in six Championship appearances for the Whites so far this season.
As for Hugill, the 25-year-old former Port Vale forward has scored four goals in 11 Championship starts for Prestons so far this season.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 61, October 15, 2017), the Englishman can leave Preston for £12 million in the January transfer window (click here to read more).

“He’s a good player and probably bit more mobile than [Pierre-Michel] Lasogga,” Redfearn is quoted as saying by Inside Futbol about Hugill.
“He’s that type – big strong centre- forward – and he is in a good vein of form at this moment in time and probably understands the level a bit more.
“That’s no slant on the players Leeds have brought in, but they haven’t played at this level. He would be a good signing for Leeds, no doubt.”
