NBA fans are in disbelief at Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic’s reaction to winning a horse race in Serbia.
Jokic arguably has one of the most unique personalities among NBA superstars, as he is not interested in fame.
He returns to Serbia every offseason and stays out of the limelight, except when one of his horses is racing.
The Denver Nuggets’ official social media channels have now shared a video of Jokic celebrating a victory at the racetrack.
Given that he often appears uninterested in everything, including basketball, they could not believe his celebration.

The Denver Nuggets posted a video with the following caption on Monday night: “Nikola’s horse wins the top Serbian race.”
Jokic was then spotted celebrating the harness racing victory, in which the driver sits in a small cart behind the horse.
The 2023 NBA champion looked genuinely delighted as he celebrated with his friends, family, and the driver.
The post has almost two million views, over seven thousand likes, and many comments with the same reaction.
“He didn’t celebrate like this when he won the NBA championships and the Finals MVP,” an NBA fan responded.
Two more replies read: “He looks happier than he did winning the championship,” and, “The happiest anyone has ever seen the guy.”
“Jokic could win Olympic gold, NBA Finals, Finals MVP, MVP of the league, and literally save a child from a burning house and be less happy than right here,” another commented.
One wrote: “I think it’s hilarious that Jokic gets more excited about his little horses winning than he does about winning an NBA title.”
Meanwhile, an X user suggested that winning horse races “could be more valuable to him than his NBA career.”
However, Jokic is so talented that he will undoubtedly return to the Nuggets later this offseason at an MVP level.
