The Miami Heat are entering a new era after trading for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future has been decided, there is still a question about where his brothers will play.

After all, for years, Antetokounmpo has ensured that the Milwaukee Bucks gave, at least, minimum contracts to his brothers, including Kostas and Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Ramona Shelburne reveals if Miami Heat will accommodate Giannis Antetokounmpo’s brothers

The Miami Heat have given up a lot of assets to acquire Antetokounmpo via a blockbuster trade. So, it’s obvious that the franchise is in need of role players to improve its bench.

However, according to NBA insider Ramona Shelburne, that help won’t be in the form of the Antetokounmpo brothers.

“There won’t be anymore Antetokounmpo brothers in Miami. That whole ‘We have Kostas and Thanasis on the team.’ I don’t think that’s going to continue from what I understand,” Shelburne stated.

Giannis may not like this, but unlike the Bucks, the Heat won’t bend over backwards to fulfill the Greek Freak’s every request.

After all, that’s how Pat Riley has always operated, even during the LeBron James and the Big 3 era.

NBA fans react to Miami Heat not wanting to sign Giannis Antetokounmpo’s brothers

Upon finding out about the Heat’s stance on the Antetokounmpo brothers, NBA fans on social media had a variety of reactions to the update.

“I respect it. They both suck,” a fan wrote. While another added, “Pat is not going for that.”

“Pat Riley ain’t about that goofy s___,” a third fan chimed in. “They’ll have a job with the organization, somehow I bet,” a fourth fan explained.

“Come on, sign Thanasis, he’s a fun time,” a fan still asked.

A few fans also claimed that not signing Thanasis could lead to lower production from Giannis, as they believe that the 2x NBA MVP is dependent on his brother.
