
Rangers have brought in one striker in Fashion Sakala, but they’ve know lost one with Nathaniel Young-Coombes leaving Ibrox.
The Gers were excited when they signed Young-Coombes from Chelsea in February 2019, but he has fallen away in Glasgow.
With other young strikers like Tony Weston and James Graham, who were signed last summer, and Rangers have chosen to let Young-Coombes go.
Rangers fans had high hopes for Young-Coombes
An England youth international, Young-Coombes looked like a huge talent, with Gers fans branding him a ‘machine’ and ‘different class’.
Young-Coombes’s best moments at Rangers came in November 2019, scoring against Wrexham in a 2-0 Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup clash at Ibrox.
The versatile attacker hit four goals in five UEFA Youth League games in the 2019-20 campaign, but Rangers still chose to let him go.

Young-Coombes confirms move, Brentford buzzing
Formerly of Chelsea and Crystal Palace, Young-Coombes now heads back to London having finalised a move to newly-promoted Premier League side.
The 18-year-old confirmed the move on Twitter, with Young-Coombes thanking Gers fans for their support during his time in Glasgow.
Additionally, Brentford B head coach Neil MacFarlane has admitted that he’s ‘delighted’ to get Young-Coombes signed, believing that he is ‘highly thought of’ at Rangers despite his release.
