Fabrizio Romano has claimed on Twitter that reported Leeds United and West Ham United target Nahitan Nandez is now the subject of interest from Inter Milan.
Leeds and West Ham interest
Both Leeds and West Ham are interested in signing Nandez from Cagliari in the summer transfer window.
According to L’Unione Sarda in June, Nandez is ready to leave Cagliari for Leeds.
La Nuova Sardegna reported last month that the West Yorkshire club are ready to pay the Uruguay international’s release clause of €36 million (£30.85 million).
In May, we covered a report here on HITC Sport from Corriere dello Sport claiming that West Ham are keen on the midfielder.

Inter Milan open talks
Centotrentuno reportedly earlier this month that Leeds are leading the race for the midfielder.
However, it seems that it is Inter who have now moved ahead.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Romano is eporting on Twitter that Inter have opened talks with Cagliari over the signing of Nandez.
The Italian champions want to sign the 25-year-old Uruguay international on a loan deal.

Missing out?
West Ham and Leeds are big and rich clubs, but there is now a chance that they could miss out on Nandez.
Inter won Serie A last season and will play in the Champions League in 2021-22.
That will be very tempting for Nandez, who scored two goals and gave two assists in 32 Serie A games last season.
