Reported Leeds United and West Ham United target Nahitan Nandez will leave Cagliari, according to his agent in TMW.
Pablo Bentancur has said that it is very likely that Nandez will leave Cagliari this summer.
The midfielder’s agent has added that his client is ready to make the move to a big club.
What’s been said?
Bentancur told TMW: “It is very likely that Nandez will leave Cagliari. He is ready for a big one. We have had many contacts.
“The market, however, is a bit slow due to Covid. In England someone asked for information, as well as in Italy. We are working.”
Leeds United and West Ham interest
Premier League clubs Leeds and West Ham have been strongly linked with Nandez.
According to L’Unione Sarda, the 25-year-old is ready to join Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds.
La Nuova Sardegna has claimed that the Whites are ready to pay the Uruguay international’s release clause of €36 million (£30.91 million).
We also covered a report from Corriere dello Sport last month claiming that West Ham are keen on the midfielder.

Cagliari exit inevitable?
With Bentancur publicly saying that Nandez is likely to leave, it does seem inevitable that the 25-year-old will be at a new club next season.
Both Leeds and West Ham are attractive prospects.
West Ham will play in the Europa League next season, while Leeds could be pushing for a top-six finish in the Premier League table.
