Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after The Athletic linked them with a move for Jonathan David.
The Athletic were doing a statistical breakdown of a number of strikers Arsenal could look at this summer, and interestingly, they noted that the Gunners have been looking at David for three years now.
The Canadian forward is an exceptional talent. He’s netted 10 goals in 15 games in Ligue 1 this season, and as you can imagine, Arsenal fans are excited by the prospect of him coming to the Emirates.
Arsenal will certainly need a new centre-forward this summer. After all, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah look like they will be on their way out of north London, and after watching David for three years, don’t be surprised if we see the 21-year-old in the Premier League next term.
