Kevin Campbell thinks Mykhailo Mudryk ‘fits the profile’ at Arsenal, but he’s unsure about Chelsea winger, Christian Pulisic, as he told the Highbury Squad.

The Arsenal legend added that Mikel Arteta can work his magic and get ‘even more’ out of Christian Pulisic, who continues to struggle in the colours of Chelsea.

Whilst Pulisic might be heading for the exit door at Stamford Bridge, he is finding his form and showcasing his worth for the USA at the Qatar World Cup.

The USA booked their ticket to the knockout stages after beating Iran 1-0 on Tuesday, thanks to a goal from their star man and a player also targetted by Newcastle United.

Given that Arsenal are sitting a the top of the Premier League table, then it will give them that edge to perhaps secure a few ambitious transfers, but when Campbell was asked to share his thoughts on Pulisic, he did raise his doubts.

“It depends if he fits their profile,” said Campbell. “I think he is a good player. You mention all the stuff he has done, but he wasn’t a starter at Chelsea. He was a bit-part player.

“I think he’s a really good player, don’t get me wrong. But he wasn’t the difference-maker at Chelsea in those games. He showed his qualities against England. I know England were poor, but I think the USA did really well and he showed that he can play at the highest level.

“With Mikel Arteta’s coaching. We might be able to get even more out of him. But, the bottom line is, does he fit their profile? That’s the big key. Mudryk fits the profile.

“Pulisic, it might be a difficult one to do because it’s Chelsea.”

MUDRYK OR PULISIC?

If Arsenal fans had a choice, then they would probably push for the Ukraine star, who is shining bright for Shakhtar Donetsk this season, including in the Champions League.

He has that unknown factor about him, which makes him even more likeable because it could make Arsenal even more dangerous if he clicks.

In terms of a transfer fee, given that Shakhtar aren’t in a powerful situation, then it probably means that Mudryk would be the cheaper option, especially given that Chelsea might just be unwilling to sell to their London rivals, who are the best team in the Premier League right now.
