Hammers boss David Moyes addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s superb win over Chelsea at the London Stadium today, and highlighted where his side could have been even better, as quoted by the club’s official website.
West Ham desperately needed three points against the Blues today, with Moyes’ side deeply entrenched in a relegation battle, and the Scot’s players finally turned up…better late than never!
The east London outfit were sensational from the first whistle until the last, with every single player in claret and blue putting their body on the line for their club.

The 54-year-old wasn’t 100 per cent happy with his side’s display though.
Moyes spoke to reporters and insisted that his team still need to improve when they have possession of the football in the final third, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“The basics were done very well today. Don’t get me wrong, it was really tough today, Chelsea kept us under pressure. But we played well, we scored a good goal in the first half and if we’d been better with the ball in the second half we’d have got another goal.”
Next up for the east London outfit is a home game against Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday night, and if they can emulate their performance against Chelsea, they will have every chance of toppling Arsene Wenger’s men.
