The surprises just keep coming with Jose Mourinho.
Just over two weeks ago, Spurs announced out of nowhere that Mourinho had lost his job as Tottenham boss following a poor run of form.
Daniel Levy has yet to find a replacement for Mourinho, but Mourinho himself has found a new job, becoming the new Roma boss.
Mourinho will replace Paul Fonseca at the end of the season, after the Italian side announced an unexpected deal for Mourinho.
This deal is full of intrigue, and it now sees Mourinho work with Nicolo Zaniolo – the Roma playmaker long targeted by Tottenham.
Zaniolo, 21, has shown great promise with Roma, hitting 14 goals and six assists in 69 games, but he has now suffered two major injuries.
The exciting playmaker was a target for Tottenham last summer, with Mourinho allegedly valuing his determination according to Corriere della Sera.

Zaniolo then gave real consideration to joining Spurs in January according to Forza Roma, but an injury scrapped those plans.
Zaniolo has been compared to Paul Gascoigne by his own agent, and now finally has the chance to play under Mourinho having missed out on that this season.
If Spurs still had an interest in signing Zaniolo, then their hopes are surely over now, with Mourinho’s admiration of Zaniolo likely to keep him in Italy.
