Rangers are already reported to be considering sending Jake Hastie out on loan. One club in particular could do with him right now.

Rangers’ reported decision to send new signing Jake Hastie out on loan [via Scottish Sun] should come as an unexpected opportunity for Motherwell.
Motherwell fans were left rocked yesterday by the club’s decision to sell another young talent, David Turnbull.
‘Well fans were dismayed at Turnbull being sold to Celtic.
Coming so close after Hastie’s exit to Rangers, it was a painful blow.
The best option for Motherwell right now would be to try and offset some of the fan anger by securing an agreement with Rangers to bring Hastie back for another year.

Rangers are keen for Hastie to get experience, being so early on into his career, he only has limited playing time behind him.
Many Motherwell fans felt the best thing for his development would have been for Hastie to stay anyway.
Getting him back on loan would be a sensible decision all round, for the player and for both clubs.
Seeing him head somewhere else on loan, especially to another Scottish side, would be even more infuriating.
