The MLS has become a hot spot for ageing soccer stars who have previously impressed in Europe.
Of course, the biggest name to ever make the switch from Europe to the MLS is Lionel Messi, who is still on the books of Inter Miami.
The David Beckham-backed side have enjoyed much success with the likes of Messi and Luis Suarez in their squad.
Now, former Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah could be closing in on a move to North America.

MLS fans share their thoughts on Mohamed Salah transfer rumour
Salah decided to leave Premier League team Liverpool this summer despite having one year left on his contract.
After competing at the 2026 World Cup with Egypt, the ageing attacker is now hunting for his next club.
There have been suggestions he could be on his way to Turkey, but rumours are now doing the rounds that Salah is negotiating with an unnamed MLS team.
Many fans have since taken to social media to react to the news, with one fan even suggesting such a transfer would be ‘insane’, writing: “That would be insane.”
A second commented: “That would be amazing, hopefully to a smaller market team to grow the sport.”
“Salah would be an interesting signing, let’s all hope it is not Inter Miami, they have enough good attackers; they need to stop,” added a third.
Another replied: “That would be mega massive for MLS. Let’s go.”
A fifth asked: “Is LAFC the best fit for him? I think it’d be a coup for the league if they get him to one of their best teams.”
“Wow, Mo Salah joining LeBron in Philly,” wrote a sixth, while another tweeted: “It would be huge for MLS if Mohamed Salah would come to an MLS team.”
At the time of writing, Salah is yet to publicly speak about which club he will join next.
Meanwhile, his agent last tweeted on July 17 that ‘I personally do not know where Mohamed will play next season. What does that tell you?’.
