The 2026 MLB All-Star game had a major impact on the pockets of baseball fans.

The MLB is undoubtedly the biggest baseball league in the world. But when it comes to their peers, the MLB is often viewed as a cheaper alternative to the likes of the NBA, NFL, and even NHL.

For years, even the MLB All-Star game, the get-in price for it has been very low. However, that trend changed this year amid the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

MLB All-Star Game get-in price soared to above $1,100

This year, the MLB All-Star game was held in Philadelphia. But the part that shocked fans the most was the get-in price for the game.

According to Front Office Sports on X, the get-in price for the game was about $1,166. For comparison, the last three MLB All-Star games’ combined get-in price was $858.

In fact, the ticket prices were even higher than the France vs. Spain World Cup semifinal game, where the Spaniards advanced to the FIFA World Cup final, thanks to a 2-0 win.

Considering the US currently has a massive influx of soccer fans in the country, and many have fallen in love with baseball, it seems that this has impacted the get-in price for the MLB All-Star game.
