Rafa Benitez has a number of options available to him in his current squad.
Newcastle United’s Aleksandar Mitrovic celebrates scoring their fifth goal
Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has admitted to the Chronicle that nobody in the squad knows if they will be starting games.
The Magpies were busy in the summer transfer window as Rafa Benitez added 12 new players to his squad.
It means the Spaniard has multiple options across the park, with at least two players fighting for every position.
It has seen him continually rotate his squad at the beginning of this season, especially in his forward line.

And Mitrovic has admitted that nobody in the squad knows whether they will be playing, something which is spurring on their fine performances of late.
“You just have to look around the dressing room to see that we have a good team,” he told the Chronicle.
“The gaffer is trying to give a chance to everyone. Nobody knows who will play, so you have to give your best in every game.”

Rafa Benitez will now be hoping that his rotation policy continues to be effective across the season.
It certainly has so far as his side sit second in the table with 15 points from their first seven games and just a point behind surprise leaders Huddersfield Town.
Their last game was their best performance yet as they beat QPR 6-0 at Loftus Road.
Their next game sees them taking on Wolverhampton Wanderers as they look to make it six wins on the bounce.
