£60 million Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mykhaylo Mudryk has labelled reports linking him with a move to Premier League high-flyers Newcastle United as ‘misinformation’ on his official Instagram account, via UA Tribuna.
One of the most coveted forwards in European football will have to get used to such speculation.
In the last two months or so, Mudryk has been linked with around 50 per cent of the Premier League; Arsenal, Everton, West Ham, Wolves, Leeds, Brighton and Newcastle United among those to have been mentioned as potential destinations for a jet-heeled forward. One dubbed the third-best left-winger in the game behind only Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.

i News, meanwhile, say that Newcastle have sent scouts to watch Mudryk in action. A £50 million bid is reportedly under consideration, with the January transfer window now just two months away.
But, when asked to comment on suggestions that he could be on his way to St James’ Park, Mudryk issued the bluntest of one-word responses.
“Misinformation,” the Ukraine international writes.
Ukraine ace Mykhaylo Mudryk one of Europe’s most coveted players
Mudryk scored his sixth goal of an excellent campaign this week; a long-range rocket against Celtic during Tuesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw in Glasgow. He will reportedly cost around £60 million these days.
Carlo Nicolini, the club’s deputy sporting director, admits that Arsenal and Manchester City are two teams who have ‘taken an interest’ in his prized asset.
“There are many English candidates. There is a Spanish (club), a French (club),” Nicolini says, via Calciomercato.
“Arsenal and Manchester City? They are two teams that have taken an interest in the player. But there are also other clubs that can spend right away. We do not have to sell.
“In this team, he is the most decisive. If you want to sign players who make a difference at top clubs, you also need the right money.”
