Rangers are still comfortably in front of their rivals

Kris Boyd has taken another dig at Celtic.
The former Rangers striker spoke to Sky Sports News about the importance of Steven Gerrard’s side not letting their standards slip with the finish line in sight.
Rangers are currently 21 points ahead of their rivals, albeit having played two games more.
It was a rare disappointing afternoon for the league leaders on Sunday, as they failed to convince against Hamilton Accies and conceded an equaliser in the dying seconds at New Douglas Park.

With Celtic having put two victories together in recent days, Boyd is wary of Rangers letting their standards drop.
He still found time to have a laugh at the expense of Neil Lennon’s men, however.
When asked what the weather was like in Glasgow, Boyd replied: “It’s about minus 21.”
Turning his attention to the weekend’s action, he went on to say: “Rangers have set the standards and they need to get back to that.
“There were a few games over the Christmas period where they dipped below that, then they seemed to come back out of it flying again.

“Yesterday was a wake up call for Rangers and they’re going to have to up their performances to get this job done.
“It’s not a bad slide to have being 21 points clear at the top of the table, that’s for sure.
“Going back to it, Rangers have set the standards and if you drop below them, that’s what happens at a big club. It’s a game at a time.
“That’s the way Rangers keep speaking about it as well, it’s the next game, and the next game is against Kilmarnock and they’ll be looking to get back to winning ways there.
“It could end up being a good point yesterday, because they were not at the races at all. Rangers have had plenty of plaudits this season and I think yesterday was a time to give Hamilton plaudits because they’ve been excellent and their fighting for survival as well.
“That’s them four points behind Kilmarnock, and Brian Rice will fancy his chances of getting Hamilton out of this again.”
